places and faces - by lucie sablé

"i mostly shoot strangers in the street or friends experiencing powerful moments. the images are representations of their/our lives together. i find taking pictures on film incredibly peaceful and thrilling: i just try to reveal the beauty of simple everyday moments. traveling is also very important to my work; it is a way for me to explore new places and new faces and to challenge myself creatively."

lucie sablé is a 22 year old french student studying cultural projects. she started shooting on film 2 years ago when she was living in buenos aires. somebody very special crossed the atlantic to see her, and gave her an analog camera, a minolta srt101b. it was the best gift she'd ever received and still the most precious object she owns. she shoots on film for her own pleasure, but would love to collaborate with other people.
